All of our candles are made from 100% natural beeswax, sourced from a Mennonite family apiary in Pennsylvania. Our candles are hand-poured and slight variations will occur.
Natural beeswax can vary slightly in color due to the type of nectar collected by the bees. Pure beeswax candles burn cleaner, brighter and longer than paraffin candles. They have a natural honey-sweet fragrance.
Pure, natural beeswax can develop a film called bloom. This is natural and does not affect the quality of the candle – in fact, it is a sign that your candle is made from only 100% beeswax! You can remove this film by gently blowing the candle with a warm hair dryer.
